MP Political Crisis: 106 BJP MLAs shifted to safehouse in Gurugram

MP Political Crisis: After Jyotiraditya Scindia’s resignation from the Congress, political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh has increased further.

After the resignation of the pro-Scindia minister and legislators, both the BJP and Congress parties are fearing a breakdown.

Late in the night, 106 BJP MLAs were shifted from Bhopal to Delhi. Meanwhile, due to the possibility of sabotage, Congress is also preparing to send its MLAs to Jaipur.

MLAs were sent to the airport by buses from outside the BJP party office in Bhopal.

From there, all have been accommodated at Hotel ITC Grand India in Gurugram late on Tuesday. The Congress is also preparing to take its MLAs to Rajasthan.

The BJP government led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is in power in Haryana, while the Congress government headed by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is ruling in Rajasthan.
