JEE Main 2020: Exam postponed due to lockdown, Check new dates

JEE Main 2020: JEE Main 200 exam has been postponed due to corona virus. The examination was to be held on April 5,7, 9 and 11. Let me tell you that at present, there is a 21-day lockdown in the country to protect against the corona virus, which will remain till April 14.

In such a situation, the examination of JEE Main 2020 has been postponed. Human resources development minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank himself has given this information through a tweet.

Engineering Entrance Examination JEE Main 2020 is deferred till the last week of May. Earlier on 18 March, a notice was issued on the official website of JEE on the postponement of the examination to be held in April, but it also said that the upcoming date will be announced after 31 March. But now it is clear that the JEE Main 2020 exam will be held in the last week of May or the first week of June.

Let us tell you that the JEE Main exam is for admission to B.Tech, BE courses in NIT, IIIT and other technical institutes.

This examination is conducted twice a year. Along with JEE Main, the National Medical Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), the largest medical examination, has also been postponed. These entrance examinations are conducted every year for admission to undergraduate medical, MBBS, BDS etc.
