Jammu Kashmir News: Five soldiers, including two army officers, were reported missing during a terrorist encounter in Handwara, North Kashmir. It is being told that their contact with the army team has been cut.

Earlier there were reports that five soldiers including two Major, Colonel and Inspector of Police were trapped in the house. After this, the army has started a rescue operation to evacuate them. However, they have not been detected yet.

Internet has been completely shut down in the area during operation. According to the information, this troop was carried out on the information about the terrorist hiding in the area. Bullets were fired from both sides during the encounter.

When the firing of the terrorists stopped, these people entered a house for search. It is being told that terrorists are also hiding in the area.

Earlier, on Saturday, the Pakistan Army opened fire in Balakot sector of Poonch district. Pakistan conducted this shelling to infiltrate the terrorists, but it was thwarted by the Indian jawans.

At around six in the morning, the Pak Army started firing shells. When the Indian Army started retaliating, the Pak Army started targeting the residential areas. Under the cover of this fire, the Pakistan Army was trying to get a team of terrorists into Indian territory. The fire caused panic among the people of the area.

Security forces have increased vigil in the Hiranagar sector in view of the possibility of infiltration from the international border. Along with the additional blockade, the security forces are also conducting search operations in the routine.
