A Brushup of Major Exam Related Happenings from the Last Week; DU, AP EAMCET and More

The education industry is currently trending with so many latest happenings from exam notifications and schedules to exam results and counselling. Here is a brushup on all the recent updates from last week from Delhi University, School of Open Learning to AP EAMCET 2020.

Delhi University New Academic Year Schedule – The new academic year for students taking new admission to Delhi University colleges will commence on 18 November 2020 as per the official notification released by the authorities. Going by the official schedule. the first semester exams for them will be conducted in March 2021, and the new semester will begin on 1 April 2021. The university recently released the second cut off list, and the third, fourth, and fifth lists of DU 2020 will be released on 26 October 2020, 2 November 2020, and 9 November 2020, respectively.

IRMASAT 2021 Registration Process Commences – The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) has started the IRMASAT 2021 registration procedure for Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management) admission 2021. Candidates have to visit the official website – irma.ac.in and register for IRMASAT 2021 online. Only those candidates who qualify as per the eligibility criteria can fill out the IRMASAT 2021 application form. Candidates with a valid CAT 2020 or XAT 2021 score will be shortlisted for the same. The registration process for IRMASAT 2021 began on 18 October 2020 and the last date to register is 31 December 2020.

The School of Open Learning, DU Released the Undergraduate Application Form – The School of Open Learning at Delhi University has released the DU SOL application form for admission to its undergraduate programs on sol.du.ac.in the official website. Students can visit the official website to fill out the form. However, the last date for the DU SOL application form has not been announced until now. It is to be noted that the application fee for the unreserved category is INR 500, while that for the reserved categories, including OBC, SC, ST, and PwD, is INR 250. 

IPU CET 2020 Merit List for M.Tech in ECE and CSE Streams Released – Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has released the merit list of IPU CET M.Tech 2020. The merit list has been released for qualified candidates for ECE and CSE streams. It is released in the form of a PDF, which the students can download from the official website.

AP EAMCET Counselling Process 2020 – The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) started the AP EAMCET 2020 counselling process on 23 October 2020 for admission into undergraduate engineering and pharmacy courses. The candidates who qualified the exam can visit the official website – apeamcet.nic.in to register themselves online. Candidates who were successful in securing a place will have to pay INR 1200 (for OC/BC) and INR 600 (for SC/ST) for counselling fees. The counselling process will go on till 27 October 2020.

GAT-B 2020 Result Announced in the Form of a Merit List – On 19 October 2020, the Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad announced the GAT-B 2020 Result in the form of a merit list. The result has been made available on rcb.res.in the official website for students to download from. To check their GAT-B 2020 rank and score, students need to visit the official website and follow the result link.
